Aleppo Episode 1 / Saturday, June 2 / Harris Field

Aleppo was Syria's largest city. In 2012, it would become the site of one of the 21st century's longest and most brutal battles. An offensive by the Free Syrian Army, in July 2012, drew thousands of Syrian Arab Army soldiers into combat.
